FIELD: radar technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radar technology and can be used in the creation of various radar or similar receiving amplifying paths. To do this, in a method for stabilizing the probability of a false alarm, which consists in measuring the noise power level at the output of an amplifying path that amplifies a mixture of a useful signal and noise, comparing the measured noise power level with a reference noise power level, generating a correction signal, a threshold device is included in the receiving path, and the correction signal is controlled by the threshold level of the threshold device, which determines the lower amplitude boundary of the passage of a mixture of a useful signal and noise.
EFFECT: increase in the signal-to-noise ratio at the output of the amplifying path.
