The method for modifying a car includes equipping the car with all-wheel drive, replacing the rear suspension, including a subframe, cardan shaft, with its preliminary shortening. The drive parts are connected by welding, the standard engine is replaced with an all-wheel drive and placed longitudinally, connected to the front axle drives. The gearbox from a mechanical one is replaced with an automatic one with the replacement of the selector, the driveshaft is connected to the front axle. The car is equipped with a prefabricated front suspension, the track width is also expanded at the car, while maintaining the standard base.

EFFECT: efficiency of modification of a VAZ passenger car is achieved.
