FIELD: pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions relates to the pharmaceutical industry, namely to a drug with a hypoglycemic effect and methods for its preparation. To obtain the remedy, a vegetable collection is used containing elecampane crushed rootstalks with roots (lnulae rhizomata (family Asteraceae)), motherwort grass (Leonuri (family Lamiaceae)), lingonberry leaves (Vitis-idaeae (family Ericaceae)) and rosehip fruits (Rosae (family Rosaceae) in a ratio of 11:3:3:3. According to one of the methods, the specified vegetable collection is extracted twice with hot water at a ratio of 1:10 at a temperature of 80°C for 1 hour. Before extraction, the raw materials are soaked in water for 0.5 hours. The combined extracts are maintained at a temperature of 4-8°C for 30 hours and purified by filtration. Another method is that the extraction of plant raw materials is carried out twice with water in an ultrasonic heated bath at a frequency of 40 kHz at a temperature of 80°C for 20 minutes.
EFFECT: obtaining from herbal medicinal raw materials a drug having a pronounced hypoglycemic effect due to the content of up to 20% inulin, 1% arbutin, 1% organic acids and 0.4% rutin and providing an increase in carbohydrate tolerance by 14% under the conditions of a glucose tolerance test.
