SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pharmaceutical industry, in particular to a method for producing an agent having antihypoxic activity. Method for obtaining a substance having antihypoxic activity, for this purpose, a crushed plant material consisting of herb of Serratula centauroides, rhizomes with roots of elecampane inula, herb of echinacea purple, cynarrhodium, black leaves of leather bergenia, taken in a certain ratio, extracted three times under certain conditions, further, the combined aqueous-alcoholic extracts are filtered, evaporated, purified by separation, pre-evaporated, then dried in a vacuum drying apparatus.

EFFECT: agent obtained by the above-described method has increased antihypoxic activity.
