FORCE TRANSFER MECHANISM FOR ADJUSTABLE VALVE DRIVE Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC F01L1/18 F01L1/20 F01L13/00

Abstract RU 2774013 C2

FIELD: engine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in gas distribution mechanisms of internal combustion engines. Force transfer mechanism (13) is designed for adjustable valve drive (10) of an internal combustion engine with at least one valve of a gas distribution mechanism and a camshaft containing first cam (32) and second cam (64). Force transfer mechanism (13) includes first lever mechanism (14) and second lever mechanism (16). First lever mechanism (14) is made with the possibility of creation of a kinematic connection between first cam (32) and at least one valve of the gas distribution mechanism. First lever mechanism (14) contains first copier (24) in contact with first cam (32), and first socket (30) for first copier (24). First copier (24) is made with the possibility of being moved and fixed in first socket (30). Second lever mechanism (16) is made with the possibility of creation of a kinematic connection between second cam (64) and at least one valve of the gas distribution mechanism. Second lever mechanism (16) contains second copier (54) in contact with second cam (64), and second socket (58) for second copier (54). Second copier (54) is made with the possibility of being moved and fixed in second socket (58). First lever mechanism (14) is made in the form of a rocker arm and/or second lever mechanism (16) is made in the form of a rocker arm. Alternatively, second lever mechanism (16) is motionlessly connected to first lever mechanism (14), and/or second lever mechanism (16) rests on first lever mechanism (14) through gap adjustment device (60), in particular, through a set screw. Alternatively, first lever mechanism (14) contains at least one movable locking piston (28) made with the possibility of supply of hydraulic fluid to it to fix first copier (24). Alternatively, first copier (24) is located in first control piston (26) made with the possibility of axial displacement in first socket (30), and/or second copier (54) is located in second control piston (56) made with the possibility of axial displacement in second socket (58). Alternatively, there is a system of control fluid supply for releasing first copier (24) and fixing second copier (54), and a separate system of lubricating fluid supply for lubricating first copier (24) and second copier (54) to ensure their rotational movement. An adjustable valve drive and a vehicle are disclosed.

EFFECT: increase in the reliability and simplification of the change in a valve stroke.
