FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cable ways. A pendulous suspended cargo cable way on mobile supports on a railway section consists of two supports, roller balancers secured thereon, a bearing cable stretched between the supports by cable stretching mechanisms parallel to the railway section, a remote-controlled carriage with cargo-gripping elements - slings, moving along the rope. Two railway cranes of the EDK series are used as supports, wherein said crane is a standard vehicle of a recovery train intended for providing assistance within the tactical and technical capabilities in elimination of the consequences of natural and man-made accidents on railway sections. For supporting the bearing cable, roller balancers are additionally installed in the span of the hoisting apparatus of the crane, and the cable way track itself extends parallel to the railway section whereon through traffic is suspended due to the failure of artificial structures, e.g., a railway bridge.

EFFECT: cable way serves as a railway for transporting cargo of various nomenclature, reducing the accumulation and downtime of cargo in the event of failure of artificial structures due to various natural and man-made circumstances, when cargo traffic can't be redirected to another railway direction; as a result, the functional capabilities of the cable way are expanded, namely, application thereof in the field of railway transport, installation and work production time is reduced, resource consumption for erecting the supports is reduced.
