SUBSTANCE: method for firing shells remaining in the barrels at the end of firing, in which, after the firing stops, the mechanism for feeding shells into the barrels is turned off, at the same time, the device with a release delay continues to apply voltage to the switching element, and through it to the projectile’s electrocapsule bushing to carry out the completion of the remaining shells in the barrels. The projectile firing device for the implementation of the method comprises an electrical circuit for engaging the charge, which has a trigger element, a mechanism for feeding shells into the barrels, a switching element that interacts with the electrocapsular sleeve of the projectile, a power source, a device with a release delay is additionally introduced into the electrical circuit for engaging the charge, made in the form a series-connected current-carrying resistor and a storage capacitor, which, in turn, are connected in parallel with the relay winding. The relay starts the switching element, and the triggering element is made in the form of an electromagnetic relay, which is connected by one pair of contacts to the mechanism for feeding shells into the barrels, and by another pair of contacts - to a device with a release delay.

EFFECT: increasing efficiency and safety when firing from automatic multi-barreled weapons with continuously rotating barrel blocks.
