FIELD: armament, in particular, automated gun mount, applicable for armament of Navy ships, mainly of small ships-patrol, frontier, coast guard ones. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in the fact that the supply of voltage pulses for initiation of charges is cut off in time for initiation of not more than three charges. The mount has an electric circuit for actuation of the charge, actuating fire relay, single pulse shaper, fire selector switch, power supply source electrically coupled to the charge, in addition, the electric circuit has an intermediate fire relay connected to the fire selector switch, and a circuit formed by a relay and a burst length selector switch, the burst length relay is connected to the shaper circuit jointly with one of the contacts of the actuating fire relay via the contact of the intermediate relay, and the burst length selector switch is connected to the power supply source. EFFECT: provided multiple-mode artillery fire, rationalized consumption of ammunition, expanded field of application due to conduction of a fixed preventive shot. 2 cl, 7 dwg
