SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical industry and can be used for the manufacture of paper-like acid-resistant separation materials that act as a membrane in the electrochemical cells of gas analyzers. The effect is achieved due to the fact that the paper-like acid-resistant separation material is a composition containing microfine glass staple fibers with an average diameter of 0.25 mcm and 0.60 mcm, while polyamide resins and adhesive based on acrylic latexes are used as a binder. The method includes dilution of glass fiber with water to the required concentration at the stage of hydromechanical processing, dissolution and dispersion of glass fiber, removal of non-fibrous inclusions (sorting), introduction of binding agents into the mass, production of acid-resistant separation materials by casting on the mesh table of a paper machine, followed by pre-pressing and drying of the finished product. products.
EFFECT: increasing the strength, absorbency and acid resistance of the separation material.
