FIELD: hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sanitary and hygienic products. Household abrasive article comprises a base composed of two interconnected layers of a non-woven material, each with curved fibres and a different abrasive surface structure, wherein the fibres in one layer have a thickness greater than the thickness of fibres in the other layer, wherein one of the layers is made of staple fibres with a linear density greater than the linear density of staple fibres in the other layer. The amount of thin fibres of the layer with a lower linear density is 20% to 80% of the total mass of the fibrous base, the amount of thick fibres of the other layer is 80% to 20% of the total mass of the fibrous base. Both layers are interconnected by the needle-punch method, and the fibres of each layer are coated with a polymer binding composition applied by spraying.
EFFECT: creation of a functional household abrasive article.
