FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring technology. The monitoring and notification system for determining the state of the subgrade contains a cable route consisting of a fiber-optic sensor cable for monitoring the subgrade, located deep in the soil of the subgrade base, and control equipment. Along the cable route there is a section for testing the condition of the subgrade, consisting of segments of a fiber-optic sensor cable for monitoring the subgrade laid in the depth of the soil, with the possibility of access to the cable route and the possibility of connecting it via an optical communication cable to a device for interrogating and collecting information about the state of the subgrade. This device consists of control equipment and a source of optical radiation connected to an optical communication cable. The control equipment is made in the form of a serially connected communication interface, a meter for the distribution of the characteristics of the reflected backscattered optical radiation, and a comparison unit. There is also a warning block.
EFFECT: increased control reliability.
