FIELD: cyber attacks protection.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for protecting against cyber attacks a pump unit comprising a variable speed fluid supply device, in particular a centrifugal pump, a drive and a control system. With this method, the signals relating to the regulation of the speed of rotation and/or the speed of rotation of the fluid supply device are first determined. These signals are then pre-processed in order to detect a maliciously caused incorrect operation mode of the pumping unit (cyber attack). This compares at least one set value and at least one current value derived from the analyzed signal. The block then sends signals to the components of the pumping unit to cause the appropriate mode of operation of the fluid supply device, as well as the state in which the fluid supply device is protected from the current and/or from future cyber attacks.
EFFECT: invention provides more effective prevention of cyber attacks on pumping units.
