FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composite outer overlay (1) for wall mounting of modular electrical devices (3). The modular electrical device is, in general, any electrical means or device related, as a rule, to electrical installations in residential buildings and similar equipment, which is usually designed for an installation, for example, for embedding in walls of such buildings next to other modular electrical devices. The device contains frame-shaped base (100), which is extended around through hole (101) with hole axis (A), compensation frame (500), which surrounds base (100), elastic system (501) functionally located between the compensation frame and base (100), assembled and made with the possibility of provision of free movement of compensation frame (500) relatively to base (100).

EFFECT: invention provides for the elimination of defects of mounting works, errors of location between an outer overlay and a mounting wall.
