FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of pellets (10) from compactible material. Biomass (1) is extruded by at least one running roller (5) in compaction direction (32) through female die bores (4) to get pellets (10). Female die (4) and/or rollers (5) can be displaced by at least one actuator. Female die is mounted on at least two props (21) and connected with two coaxial load-bearing ring (8) and/or load-bearing board (31) to interact therewith. Said board has openings (28) to drive pellets (10) in compaction direction (32).
EFFECT: prop can be repaired without outage of the press and ruled out female die flexure.
