FIELD: laser technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser technology. The method for forming a tubular laser radiation stream with radial polarization is implemented in a device containing: a solid-state active laser element in the form of a hollow thin-walled round cylinder, the ends of which are conical at Brewster angle relative to the plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of this cylinder; an opaque mirror made of such a shape and mounted on one side of the active element at such a distance that the beam generated by the active element of at least one longitudinal mode has a complete reflection from a part of the opaque mirror; an output mirror in the form of a flat-concave axicon, one surface of which is made conical at Brewster angle relative to the plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis axicon; in this case, the output mirror is installed on the other side of the active element on the same longitudinal axis with it at such a distance that the beam of at least one longitudinal mode exits the output mirror in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis.
EFFECT: use of the method for the formation of a tubular laser radiation stream with radial polarization makes it possible to obtain a result in the form of simplification of the design.
