FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: laser has an amplifier module which has a tube having an inner surface and an outer surface, where the tube contains active material of the laser. The inner surface of the tube is adjacent to a first substrate, where the first substrate includes a first set of microchannels. The outer surface of the tube is adjacent to a second substrate, where the second substrate includes a second set of microchannels. Outside the second substrate there are diode matrices assembled in such a way that, optical pumping radiation can be transmitted to the active material of the laser. When realising the laser generation method, pumping radiation is transmitted from the multiple diode matrices to the laser active material of the said amplifier module and cooling substance is fed through the first and second set of microchannels.
EFFECT: elimination or reduction of effects of formation of a thermal lens, double refraction, double focusing and problems of centering, high beam quality and high level of average power is provided.
