FIELD: transportation; lifting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a winch. Winch (100, 200) contains cable (105); overwind sensor (106) attached to cable (105). Overwind sensor (106) contains the first electrically conductive element, contact element (104) containing the second electrically conductive element, with which the first electrically conductive element contacts, when overwind sensor (106) is in the second position. At the same time, the first electrically conductive element does not contact with the second electrically conductive element, when overwind sensor (106) is in the first position. Winch (100, 200) is made with the possibility of stopping and/or preventing, and/or complicating winding of cable (105), when an electrical contact is made between the first electrically conductive element and the second electrically conductive element, when overwind sensor (106) is in the second position.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of winch operation.
