SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of animal husbandry and can be used in commercial and breeding agricultural enterprises with intensive cultivation of replacement young cattle of dairy breeds. The method for growing replacement heifers includes feeding heifers with balanced diets, subcutaneous injection of a biogenic drug, while the biogenic drug is administered to heifers monthly with an interval of 30 days. The injection of the drug is carried out subcutaneously in the neck area. Biogenic preparation is prepared using raw materials from offal, slaughterhouse waste.
EFFECT: use of the claimed method in the technological cycle of growing replacement heifers makes it possible to increase the growth energy of animals, reducing the time they reach physiological maturity and expand the arsenal of means for these purposes.
