FIELD: locking mechanisms.
SUBSTANCE: present invention concerns a locking mechanism for a window or a door. A locking mechanism for a window or a door is proposed, which provides for locking element (2), which serves for the fixation to blocking element (3), when shifted along a groove, and, in a closed position, enters groove (5) of blocking element (3), extending along the groove and opened from sides. In this case, on the transverse edge of blocking element (3), opposite to groove (5), at a small distance from it, fixed stop (1) corresponding to locking element (2) is installed. According to the invention, the mechanism has a detachable retainer for a crossbar moving under the impact of an elastic force in the direction of blocking element, which is actuated in contact of blocking element (3) with stop (1).
EFFECT: providing the improvement of safety in unauthorized intrusion attempts, obtaining an improved development, which is simple in mounting, does not have an impact on normal actuation of a locking mechanism.
