FIELD: rocket and space technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket and space technology and can be used for docking with non-cooperative space debris objects. The method for removal of large space debris objects is based on the use of a space tug (ST), equipped with a propulsion system for implementing longitudinal impulses according to a “pushing” scheme, from a transport and docking module (TDM) separated from it on a cable, equipped with a Cartesian propulsion system, and docking with space debris (SD) using a capture system such as "pin-cone", "robot-arm" or a network due to the difference in orbital velocities (ST+TDM) and SD. The ST+TDM orbit is determined by the given parameters , , , which determine the calculated position and speed of the ST with respect to the SD in the ST orbital plane at the moment of the beginning of the tether tension with the initial length , where is the angle between the local vertical of the SD orbit and the tether connecting the SD and ST; - speed of the ST relative to the SD, perpendicular to the tether, the tether diameter is determined from the condition of the tether strength, using the relative motion parameters corresponding to the beginning of the tether tension, taking into account the error in constructing the ST orbit and determining the SD orbit.
EFFECT: reliability of the system during operation is increased.
