FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerospace engineering and may be used for cleaning near-Earth space of refuse formed by separated parts (SP) of rocket carrier last stages (RC) and acceleration units (AU). Proposed method consists in using small-size space tow (SST) separated from RC SP or AU coupled therewith by cable rope to dock SST with space debris and applying decelerating impulse to RC SP or AU SP exploiting unusable liquid fuel reserve to place cluster ''RC SP or AU SP -cable rope - SST'' in disposal orbit. Proposed device comprises SP of RC, AU with rocket engine, cable rope system with cable drum controlled drive rigidly coupled with SP of RC, AU and equipped with space refuse detection and self-guidance system, and docking device.

EFFECT: disposal of space refuse.
