FIELD: radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio navigation and can be used in local navigation systems with limited access to satellite navigation system signals. The method for determining the location of the navigation object consists in the radiation by the navigation object (NO) of a high-frequency harmonic signal modulated in phase by the sum of two or more oscillations of scale frequencies, its re-emission by repeaters of radio navigation points (RNP) placed on multicopters at points with specified coordinates, receiving re-emitted signals and simultaneously measuring them at the processing point (PP) of pairwise phase differences of oscillations of scale frequencies (scales). In the computing device, the PP perform a transition from the measured phase differences to the relative range differences between NO and RNP, the values of which are agreed step by step during the transition from a rough unambiguous to an exact ambiguous scale frequency. According to the final exact range differences on a time scale close to the real one, the coordinates of NO are determined. The rules for choosing the number and values of scale frequencies are given, as well as the original algorithm for matching multiscale measurements.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency and accuracy of determining the location of the navigation object.
