FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the production of catalysts. A method for the production of a titanium-containing silicon oxide molded body includes a stage of mixing of raw materials, at which a template agent, a silicon source, and a solvent are mixed to obtain solid substance containing the template agent and silicon oxide. Then, a stage of molding of solid substance is carried out to obtain a molded body, as well as a stage of removal of the template agent, at which the template agent is removed from the molded body. A temperature of solid substance at the molding stage is from 40°C to 100°C. During and/or after any of stages of mixing of raw materials, molding stage, and stage of removal of the template agent, a titanium source is introduced to solid substance or molded body. A method for the production of epoxide is also proposed.
EFFECT: invention allows for obtaining a titanium-containing silicon oxide molded body with high catalytic activity and high strength.
