FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to method for epoxidation of producing alkylene oxide, involving contact hydroperoxide with olefin in presence of catalyst, where catalyst is titanium-containing catalyst, obtained by method including following steps: (a) making carrier by reacting silicate with water in presence of surfactant selected from block copolymers based on ethylene oxide (EO) and propylene oxide (RO), and firing obtained reaction product; (b); carrier from step (a) titanium agent to produce impregnated catalyst; (c) calcination of impregnated catalyst from step (b); (d) hydrolysis subjected to annealing impregnated catalyst from step (c) by means of steam at temperature preferably of 150-400°C; and (e) silylation of hydrolysed impregnated catalyst from step (d) using silylation reagent.

EFFECT: reduced loss of catalyst activity in process of epoxidation of alkylene oxide, which enables use of catalyst for longer time with high selectivity.
