FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely the production of electrical isotropic steel used for the manufacture of high-frequency motors for electric vehicles and electrical devices with high energy efficiency. The method includes the smelting of steel containing, wt.%: less than 0.005 carbon, from 2.5 to 3.5 silicon, from 0.05 to 1.00 manganese, less than 0.010 nitrogen, less than 0.015 sulfur, from 0.1 to 1, 5 aluminum, from 0.01 to 0.10 antimony or tin, less than 0.01 titanium, iron and inevitable impurities - the rest, the melt of which is subjected to combined blowing in the converter, vacuum decarburization, alloying with ferrosilicon and continuous casting into slabs. Hot rolling of slabs, normalization annealing at a temperature of 800-1100°С with holding for 60-180 s, pickling, single or multiple cold rolling with intermediate annealing and final annealing with or without application of an electrical insulating coating are carried out.

EFFECT: achievement of low specific magnetic losses, high magnetic induction and high level of strength properties.
