FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for the operation of a user terminal of an agricultural machine, including: providing a user terminal in a control system of the agricultural machine, wherein the user terminal is connected to a power source and is made with the possibility of transmitting control signals via a control bus to functional elements of the agricultural machine; supplying power through a power supply line to the user terminal with a voltage level provided by the power supply source, wherein the voltage level is a normal operating voltage level; determining at least one of a switched-on state of an ignition device of the agricultural machine and a drop of power provided by the power supply source in the power supply line to a reduced voltage level that is less than the minimum operating voltage level, wherein the minimum operating voltage level is equal to or less than the normal operating voltage level, and the power drop is caused by switching the ignition device in the switched-on state; in response to the determination of an increase of the reduced voltage level to an increased voltage level using a voltage increase device, wherein the increased voltage level reaches at least the minimum operating voltage level; operating, when the ignition device is in the switched-on state, the user terminal with the power source having the increased voltage level; determining at least one of a switched-off state of the ignition device and termination of the drop of power provided by the power supply source in the power supply line; in response to the determination of the termination of the increase in the reduced voltage level; and supplying power to the user terminal with a voltage level provided by the power supply source, wherein the voltage level is the normal operating voltage level.
EFFECT: claimed solution provides more efficient operation of a user terminal, depending on various use cases when working in the field.
