FIELD: petroleum industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the petroleum industry and can be used to limit water inflows in petroleum and gas boreholes. In order to implement the method for limiting water inflows in petroleum and gas boreholes, the estimated volume of buffer fluid and the estimated amount of water shutoff compound are pumped, and the water shutoff compound is pushed into the reservoir using hydrocarbon raw materials with exit to the water saturated horizon. The liquids are held for a time needed to set and gain strength. Prior to pumping the buffer liquid and the water shutoff compound followed by pressing using hydrocarbon raw materials, an electromagnet is lowered into the borehole to the interval of the water saturated horizon, and the calculated amount of magnetically controlled liquid is pumped. When a magnetic field is established by the electromagnet, the leak is controllably filled with the water shutoff compound within the magnetised magnetically controlled liquid surrounding the site. The calculated value of the boost force provided by the supply of hydrocarbon raw materials and the calculated value of the electromagnetic force inhibiting the propagation of the water shutoff compound using the magnetic liquid are selected so that an equilibrium is ensured.
EFFECT: increase in the controllability of the process of repair and insulation work for the purpose of preventing the entry of a water shutoff grouting compound to a significant depth into the productive reservoir.
