FIELD: metal forming.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metal forming and can be used for bending thin-walled rectangular waveguides of spacecraft. The mandrel contains a set of flexible elements assembled in a package made with the possibility of filling the inner cavity of the waveguide. Flexible elements are made in the form of square bars in cross section made of a porous composite material, the structure of which includes materials with a lubricating effect. The mandrel is equipped with metal mounting elements located at both ends of the mandrel for installing and removing it from the waveguide.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to perform bending in two planes in one installation.
