FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: curved and twisted portions are formed in a tube blank, each twisted portion being formed in a plurality of transitions. During the first transition the blank is fixed in a collet clamp and pressed to a burnishing tool by means of a booster die, a distance between ends of the collet clamp and the burnishing tool is set equal to the length of the twisted portion. Twisting of the section is carried out by turning the collet clamp. For twisting each subsequent section of the zone, the blank is fixed in the collet clamp, and semi-dies placed on a bending head, in which the tube blank is fixed in the section twisted on previous transition, the distance between the ends of the collet clamp and semi-dies is set equal to the length of the twisted portion, and its twisting is carried out by turning the collet clamp. The device for producing the waveguides of complex shape is used comprising two semi-matrixes mounted on the bending head in front of a booster device, each of which is configured for axial reciprocation motion perpendicular to the axis of the collet clamp by means of a drive, and working surfaces of the semi-matrixes are designed for clamping the twisted portion of the tube blank.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy for manufacturing the waveguides and expanded technological possibilities.
