WOUND SUTURING DURING RADICAL SURGERY FOR EPITHELIAL COCCYGEAL PASSAGE Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61B17/00 A61B17/04

Abstract RU 2775875 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used for wound closure during radical surgery for epithelial coccygeal passage. In the position of the patient according to Depage, the epithelial coccygeal passage is stained with methylin blue through the primary fistulous opening. An audit of the cavity with a probe is performed. Two semi-oval skin incisions are used to excise the epithelial coccygeal passage within normal tissue. Hemostasis is performed. Departing 0.6 cm from the edge of the wound, a needle with an antibacterial thread is injected into the skin and subcutaneous tissue and the needle is deepened to the bottom of the wound, capturing the fascia of the sacrum and coccyx. In this case, the needle is punctured through the skin 0.6 cm from the edge of the wound on the opposite side, and then a skin suture 1.0 cm long is applied. The needle is injected through the skin edge of the wound. After that, through the bottom of the wound, capturing the skin and subcutaneous tissue, the needle is passed to the opposite side of the wound and a puncture is made, a skin suture 1.0 cm long is again applied. In the same way, sutures are applied on the other side of the wound along the bottom of the wound. The sutures are crossed and both threads are tied at the distal end and 3 or 4 pairs of continuous sutures are applied. The wound defect is gradually tightened. At the proximal end, the threads are tied with a separate interrupted suture.

EFFECT: method provides high efficiency of suturing and completeness of contact of the wound edges, its accelerated overgrowth and reduction of the possibility of complications due to the application of two continuous cruciform sutures.
