FIELD: polymers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of bitumen-polymer materials intended for sealing expansion joints of cement-concrete and asphalt-concrete coatings of aerodromes. Bitumen-polymer sealing composition includes petroleum bitumen, a polymer, a plasticiser, and a complex of target modifying additives. The composition therein contains a divinyl-styrene thermoplastic elastomer, including 20% degraded foam polystyrene, as a polymer, degraded waste from styrene-butadiene rubber production as a plasticiser, and fullerene-containing carbon, graphite, wollastonite and an antioxidant as modifying additives, with the following component ratio,wt. pts.: bitumen 65.0 to 80.0; divinyl-styrene thermoplastic elastomer including 20% degraded foam polystyrene 2.0 to 5.0; degraded waste from styrene-butadiene rubber production 5.0 to 8.0; fullerene-containing carbon 0.1 to 1.0; graphite 1.0 to 4.0; wollastonite 4.0 to 7.0, and antioxidant 0.5 to 2.0.
EFFECT: improved physical and mechanical, as well as operating properties of the bitumen-polymer sealing composition: tensile strength, breaking elongation, resistance to ageing from exposure to UV radiation.
