FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing a spinning solution for producing acrylic fibres-precursors of PAN carbon fibres. The method for producing a homogeneous spinning solution includes the stages of: producing a homogeneous suspension by mixing a powdered acrylonitrile copolymer with a solvent consisting of a mixture containing dimethyl sulphoxide DMSO and an aqueous ammonia solution, and/or one or more primary amines, and/or one or more secondary amines, and heating the homogeneous suspension to a temperature from 70 to 150°C for 0.5 to 30 minutes until the copolymer is fully dissolved and a homogeneous solution is formed.
EFFECT: invention allows for production of carbon fibres with high tensile strength and elastic modulus.
