FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to the technology of flotation enrichment of potash ores; it can be used to increase the efficiency of a cation collector in the processing of potash ores. A method for flotation enrichment of sylvinite ores includes ore crushing, desalination, conditioning by introducing an amine emulsion and air into flotation pulp, followed by mixing of pulp, foam flotation, collection of a foam product – a flotation concentrate, and separation of a chamber product – halite. Before conditioning, the amine hydrochloric acid emulsion is subjected to dispersion and aeration by treating the emulsion with ultrasound at a frequency of 22-44 kHz, an intensity of 15-25 W/cm2 and a duration of 5-15 minutes.
EFFECT: increase in the extraction of potassium chloride from ore into a flotation concentrate with reduced consumption of an amine emulsion.
