SUBSTANCE: invention relates to meteorological devices and can be used to determine the intensity of hail. Essence: The hail photo recorder contains a sealed housing (1) mounted on a mast (2) with an acoustic sensor (3), an electronic control system, a modem and a solar panel (5) connected to a power source. The housing also houses a miniature wide-angle camera (4), a real-time electronic clock, a temperature sensor, a pressure sensor and a humidity sensor, the outputs of which are connected to an electronic control system. In this case, the acoustic sensor (3) is made of piezoelectric material, and the electronic control system is implemented using a microcontroller.

EFFECT: expanding the functionality of the device, increasing the information content of the received data.
