FIELD: building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a thermal and/or acoustic insulation system for waterproofing a flat or pitched roof of a building. Thermal and/or acoustic insulation system consists of at least one insulation element made of mineral wool, preferably rock wool, and provided with a main surface, and a facing element consisting of at least a first layer of facing material and a second layer made of a heat-activated adhesive and oriented with respect to the main surface of the insulating element. No protrusion and recesses are present on the main surface of the insulation element. The area of connection between the insulation element and the facing element is at least 70%, preferably at least 80% of the area of the main surface of the insulation element.
EFFECT: increase in the strength of the system.
