SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and gas industry, in particular to a method for cleaning pipelines. A method for cleaning an oil pipeline from deposits of asphaltenes, resins, paraffin, salts and water-oil emulsions using a reagent torpedo includes preparing a reagent and loading the reagent into an oil pipeline. When preparing the reagent, the detergent preparation ML-81b is heated to a temperature of 85-90°C, then the temperature is reduced to 40°C and nitrilotrimethylphosphonic acid is added with stirring, then the temperature is reduced to 25-30°C and, maintaining the temperature, sodium soda is added with stirring. The solution is poured into a cylindrical mold with a diameter corresponding to the inner diameter of the pipeline to be cleaned. After the reagent solidifies, the obtained reagent torpedoes are loaded into the oil pipeline.
