SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology and can be used in evaluating the effectiveness and activity of arbuscular mycorrhiza (AM) fungi in biological preparations based on them, which have a growth-stimulating effect on plants and/or enhance their adaptive properties to environmental stress factors of abiotic and biotic nature. The method includes the following steps: a) using as a test plant an obligate-mycotrophic plant selected from a polymorphic species under conditions of a low content of available phosphorus; b) conducting a sterile, relative to other arbuscular mycorrhiza fungi, vegetative test for the symbiotic efficacy of the analyzed arbuscular mycorrhiza fungus; c) assessment of the parameters of the symbiotic interaction, including symbiotic efficiency, or mycorrhization indices, or their combination; d) formation of a conclusion about the quality of a biological product based on the estimated parameters. In this case, the assessment of the parameters at stage c) is carried out taking into account the development phase of the host plant and is carried out during the transition from the stalk phase to the lateral branching phase (beginning of lateral branching).

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the accuracy of the assessment of the quality of biological preparations based on AM-fungi while simultaneously reducing the time for such an assessment.
