SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a container 100 for storing household thin paper sheets, containing: a body 1 for storing household thin paper sheets P therein, including an outlet 1131a for extracting said household thin paper sheets P through said outlet; and an opening/closing cover 2 hinged to the body 1 of the container and covering the outlet 1131a. Container 100 for storing household thin paper sheets comprises: a latching tool for securing the opening/closing cover 2 in the closed position and for unlocking and opening the opening/closing cover 2; and a displacement tool for displacing the cover 2 in the direction of opening. The latching tool comprises: a latching element 21 of the opening/closing cover located on said cover 2; a button movement section 1132 in the form of a flexible section made in the body 1 of the container; and a button 3 configured to be moved up and down by means of the button movement section 1132 and containing a latching element 34 of the button for engagement with the latching element 21 of the opening/closing cover.
EFFECT: invention proposes a container for storing household thin paper sheets, the cover whereof is easily opened by pressing any section of the upper surface of the button.
