FIELD: wireless communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. The invention provides a method for configuring a reference detection signal (DRS) in an unlicensed frequency spectrum and implements sending and receiving DRS via a base station and terminal in an unlicensed frequency spectrum based on the DRS configuration method. The method for configuring, sending and receiving DRS contains: configuring the DRS so that it occupies the first specified number of consecutive time characters in the time slot, with the first specified number not exceeding 14; and configuring the DRS so that it contains at least one or two synchronization signal blocks (SSB).
EFFECT: ensuring energy conservation of the base station, while ensuring that the terminal receives descending synchronization information in the time domain and ascending random access information.
