The expected result is achieved by the fact that the upholstery device, in particular, an upholstery pad or an upholstery cushion, has an upper side, a lower side and a side wall provided between the upper side and the lower side with passage along the outer perimeter, having a cover layer surrounding the upper side, side walls and lower side and an upholstery layer located under the upper cover layer, in this case, the cover layer is made light-permeable at least from the upper side, the upholstery layer is made at least from the upper side light-permeable, under the upholstery layer at least in places, there is, in particular over the entire surface, a heat-absorbing, in particular a flexible absorption layer, and above or below the absorption layer there is a solar heat storage layer in functional connection with the absorption layer, which has a phase change material, the so-called PCM material, or under the upholstery layer a functional layer with a layer of solar heat accumulation from an integrated solar thermal material with a phase transition is made at least in places, in particular over the entire surface, the so-called PCM material, and the functional layer has in particular an absorption layer.
EFFECT: possibility of recycling the upholstery.
