FIELD: sportive equipment. SUBSTANCE: method involves moving sportive equipment or model thereof along predetermined track portion; providing multiple measurement of movement parameters; selecting optimum version; providing movement measurements at equipment or model thereof at speeds exceeding at initial and final measurement periods rest state. Speeds at initial and final measurement periods are determined between two points for each period, with distance between two points for each period being equal. Acceleration is determined at the portion having distance 2-4 times exceeding distance between first and terminating points of both periods. Sliding coefficient is calculated from formula where g is gravity force acceleration; a is acceleration of sportive equipment or model thereof at predetermined track portion equal to , where b is distance between first and terminating points of any period of speed measurement of sportive equipment or model thereof; S is distance between middle parts of periods; t1 is first period of time; t2 is final period of time. Method allows optimum sliding surface and lubricant for it to be effectively determined and may be applied for sportive events and equipment, such as skiing, snowboarding, sledge event, skating, all kinds of rowing. Method also allows operational factors such as friction of ski sliding surface lubricated with different lubricants under real ski conditions to be completely taken into account.
