FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: present invention concerns a method for self-diagnostics of a mechanical and/or hydraulic state of a centrifugal pump, in particular a circulation pump. In this case, a pump control device contains a mathematical model of an engine to determine mechanical power of the pump and the actual speed of the pump rotation. A working point module is also provided to assess this working point of the pump based on the pump rotation speed and mechanical power of the pump. Moreover, for self-diagnostics of the pump, mechanical power of the pump determined using the engine model for the given pump rotation speed is compared with the calculated mechanical power of the pump, and this calculated mechanical power of the pump is determined by inverting the working point module for a certain pump rotation speed.
EFFECT: obtaining a method for self-diagnostics of a mechanical and/or hydraulic state of a centrifugal pump.
