FIELD: heating systems.

SUBSTANCE: heating system operation method is intended for a system containing at least one heating boiler and at least one circulation pump. The circulation pump determines the actual required amount of heat for a heated building by one or several operating parameters and transmits its value to the control unit (10) for controlling and/or regulating the heating boiler. The control unit (10) controls and/or regulates the temperature of the medium, taking into account this transmitted value of the required amount of heat. One or more operating parameters are related to a currently existing volume flow. The evaluation of the currently existing volume flow in terms of heat demand is carried out using the active control curve of the circulation pump. A variant of the method for operating the heating system and a circulation pump for the heating system are disclosed.

EFFECT: increase of the accuracy of determining the heat load of the heating system.
