SUBSTANCE: method for generating the signature of an unwanted electronic message includes the stages of: determining the attributes of at least two consecutively intercepted electronic messages; classifying the first electronic message as unwanted using a trained model for classifying electronic messages; determining that the first and second electronic messages belong to the same cluster of electronic messages, based on certain attributes; generating the signature of the unwanted electronic message based on the determined cluster of electronic messages.
EFFECT: ensured high detection rate and reduced probability of type I and II errors occurring when detecting unwanted electronic messages due to the generation of the signature of an unwanted electronic message using machine learning methods.
