SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of information security provision. A system for the determination of an event classification rule on a user terminal device contains: a characteristic determination means intended for the determination of intercepted event characteristics; an event selection means intended for the selection, based on determined characteristics, of an event from an event base, the similarity of which with the intercepted event is higher than the pre-set value; a rule determination means intended for the determination, based on the similar event, of a classification rule for the intercepted event, using a user profile, previously formed using a profile formation means, in the form of a vector of elements of a user preference matrix containing a rank of an event from the event base on the user terminal device, determined using a decomposition algorithm, where the specified profile characterizes the probability of that an event from the event base belongs to the set class on the user terminal device.

EFFECT: determination of most of undesirable events on a terminal device due to the use of event classification rules and event characteristic analysis.
