FIELD: carbon molybdenum disulphide production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology for producing a layered composite of molybdenum disulfide with carbon, which can be used for the industrial production of electrode masses of sodium-ion batteries (SIB), lubricants, osmotic membranes for petrochemistry. A layered carbon-molybdenum disulfide composite is obtained using viscose fiber as the initial carbon source, which is impregnated with a solution of ammonium molybdate tetrahydrate (NH4)6Mo7O24⋅4H2O, dried, carbonized at temperatures of 630-950°C with holding at 220°C, 280°C and 350°C for at least 15 min at each temperature, and then the fiber is subjected to solvation-thermal treatment in a solution of thiourea NH2CSNH2 at a temperature of 75°C for 4 hours, followed by drying.
EFFECT: staged processing of viscose fiber, on the one hand, makes it possible to chemically form small crystals of molybdenum disulfide inside the carbon layered structure, which can give smaller volumetric expansions when sodium is incorporated when using the composite in the SIB anode material; on the other hand, the use of ammonium molybdate and thiourea reduces the carbonization temperature from 1000 to 950°C, and the solvation heat treatment simplifies the technological design of the method; obtaining a composite in the manner described above allows you to save the structure of the fiber.
