FIELD: water rescue equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water rescue equipment, namely to a lifeboat with a device for ensuring its course. The device for ensuring the course of the lifeboat consists of a rechargeable battery and a lead screw, which is directly connected to an output shaft of an electric engine. The device additionally includes a deck connector, a charger-inverter, and balancers, a number of which is equal to a number of lithium-iron-phosphate batteries assembled using jumpers into the rechargeable battery. An asynchronous engine is used as the electric engine. The deck connector is connected to an input of the charger-inverter, battery outputs of which are connected to positive and negative poles of the rechargeable battery, respectively. Invertor inputs of the charger-inverter are connected to terminals of the asynchronous engine, and each balancer is connected to positive and negative poles of each lithium-iron-phosphate battery.

EFFECT: increase in the reliability of equipment is achieved.
