FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: adaptive wing with a variable-camber profile comprises two mechanical chains, sheathing, and lever supports connecting the mechanical chains to the sheathing. Each two adjacent lever supports are interconnected by rods in the sheathing area. Provided are power elements secured to the mechanical chains, a synchroniser beam synchronising the bend of the mechanical chains, and a linear drive ensuring that the camber of the wing profile is changed and retained.
EFFECT: placement of power elements, fuel tanks, drive, and wiring.
