FIELD: roads construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the construction of roads and can be used for the construction of the upper layers of pavement, pavement, bridge crossings. An asphalt concrete mix for road construction is proposed, containing granite crushed stone of a fraction of 5-20 mm, sand from screenings of crushed granite crushed stone of a fraction of 0.16-5 mm, mineral powder, oil viscous road bitumen and a polymer additive to bitumen, and as a polymer additive used previously secondary polyethylene terephthalate obtained by joint thermochemical destruction by alcoholysis in the presence of glycerin in the form of crushed used plastic bottles with particle sizes from 2 to 20 mm at a temperature of 220-240°C in air at normal atmospheric pressure in the ratio PET:glycerol - 60: 40, with the following ratio of components, wt.%: crushed granite fraction 5-20 mm - 40-45; sand from crushing screenings of crushed granite fraction 0.16-5 mm - 39-42; viscous oil road bitumen - 4-6; the specified polymer additive - 4.5-7.0 by weight of the bitumen; activated limestone mineral powder - the rest.

EFFECT: improving the basic physical and mechanical properties of asphalt concrete, increasing the temperature range of bituminous binder performance, as well as reducing environmental damage through the disposal of household waste.
