FIELD: antenna technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna technology and serves for the manufacture of radio-transparent antenna fairings of high-speed rockets. The expected result is achieved by the fact that the method for manufacturing a radio-transparent product, including forming a ceramic shell, drying, firing, machining with a diamond tool, volumetric impregnation of the shell with an organosilicon polymer followed by polymerization, radio guidance of the shell by machining its outer surface to a predetermined size, connection of the shell with the frame using a sealant, specifically before polymerization heat treatment is carried out with a temperature rise to 180-210°C without exposure, cooled to a temperature not higher than 50°C, gel-like buildups are removed from the shell surfaces with acetone no later than 1 hour after cooling.
EFFECT: improvement in the radio technical characteristics of the product and a reduction in the complexity of its manufacture.
